# Upgrades

1. Keep a copy of the current `wrangler.jsonc` variables and the D1 database name.
2. Unzip the newer template beside the store. Copy your wallet addresses, `MAIL_FROM`, and domain into the new config.
3. Run `npx wrangler d1 migrations apply <database> --remote` for any new migration.
4. Run `npm run preflight` when the package includes it, then `npx wrangler deploy`.
5. Place a one-cent-style USDC payment on Solana and confirm the download before you announce the change.

Do not copy `.dev.vars` or `.wrangler` from an old folder into git.
