# Custom domains

The free hostname is the `workers.dev` address from `npx wrangler deploy`. Use it until you already have a domain.

When the domain is on a free Cloudflare zone in the same account, attach it in the Worker settings. Set `PAY_ORIGIN` to that public origin and deploy again so receipt links use it. A new domain registration is optional. This template does not require one.
